Recently I went to the health department to get a copy of my birth certificate. One of the women at the ISDOH pulled me in an office to tell me that “Usually it doesn’t take so long to process this, but since you’re adopted, it takes longer.”
I must have looked punched… she covered her mouth and said “You didn’t know?”
So, ya… thanks Mom.

@ Gwen Smith:
Ya… can’t say I’m surprised though. Mom has a long history of deception. Something I’ve just accepted as part of her personality.
Holy fucking shitcock. Wow.
Im clueless on what to say…other then I love you..and you know where to find me if you want to talk.

HOLY SHIT.
HOLY SHIT.
fyi y’all, I know I didn’t post a lot of context. Basically my Mom has a long history of deceit, so I’m not all that shocked. If you look at old (pretransition)pictures of me and my dad’s side of the family, then pics of my mom and dad, you can see that I stick out like a sore thumb. It’s not something I hadn’t already thought about. I was shocked, but not surprised… if that makes any sense.
Holy fucking Hell, ((((Marti!!!))) I hope you’re feeeling as ok as you can with this news – at least you know you haven’t inherited any of her deceitful ways. 🙂 XXX
